Krásná hora | La Blanca

Winemaker Notes

Natural wine. Hand harvested at 18-20 points of sugar.

40% Riesling – tank fermentation
40% mix of Riesling, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc, Gewurztraminer – skin contact fermentation 2-3 weeks
20% Pinot Blanc – 3-year old oak fermentation

Tasting Notes

This dry white wine has a slightly cloudy golden-yellow color, showing that the wine is unfiltered. On the nose, there is lifted floral and citrus aromas with a slight hint of herbs. On the palate, the intense fruitiness is balanced by mouth-watering acidity and richness comes from the softest of tannins in this unique style of naturally made wine. There is a delightful contradiction here between the elegance that comes from low alcohol and the richness that comes from fermentation on the skins.

Serve between 50-53.6°F
