Moravian Wine in the US Market - Instagram Live With Civil Wines

Recently, I had the pleasure of joining Arielle DeSoucey from Civil Wines in an Instagram Live to discuss Moravian wines and the place we see for Czech wines in the US market. The hour flew by - as I knew it would. If you’re reading this, you likely know I can talk alllll day about Czech wines and the brilliant winemakers of Moravia. Luckily, so can Arielle!

I was fortunate enough to get connected to Arielle through one of our winemakers, Gala. They shared the video Arielle did featuring their stunning Welschriesling, and I quickly realized we needed to get to know Arielle!

A US expat living in Brno, Czech Republic, Arielle is a WSET Level 3 Sommelier and studying for her Diploma - so she knows way more about wine than most of us. And of course being from New York, our east coast styles matched well. (We may have talked over each other, for like, most of the time. But we totally got each other.) Her mission is to promote Moravian wine to the English speaking community, and we couldn’t be happier she embarked on this journey.
