Volařík | Welschriesling Perná Bergrus

Winemaker Notes

Welschriesling (unrelated to Rhone Riesling) is an old and highly prized variety in the Czech Republic.

Harvest was later, when sugar content reached: 22.0 NM

Tasting Notes

This dry wine is pale greenish yellow. It is beautifully citrus and green apple forward with medium minerality. It will pair nicely with shellfish, sushi or pair with fattier cured meat and rich cheeses, that will benefit from the acidity.
