Volařík | Grüner Veltliner Věstonsko
Winemaker Notes
The grapes were hand harvested from the Věstonsko Vineyard and carefully selected in the end of October. Gentle pressing was followed by 30 hours of maceration. The wine was fermented at a controlled temperature of 16 degrees Celsius and bâtonnage was gently performed at 7 months. The wine was then aged in the bottle for at least 2 months.
Tasting Notes
The wine displays the emerald tones typical of this varietal. On the nose you will find the slightly over-ripe mango with a touch of cream. It is a full-bodied, mineral wine with green pepper on the finish.
Suggested Pairings
This wine would be well enjoyed with grilled tuna paired with grilled vegetables. This wine should be served at between 51‐55 degrees Fahrenheit and can be stored for up to 5 years.
